World of Warcraft has officially revealed the patch notes for the 11.2.7 content update, which includes Legion Remix, the Season 3 Turbo-Boost, and several new UI and accessibility improvements. The next World of Warcraft patch goes live with the weekly reset on October 7, though some features of the Turbo-Boost arrive two weeks later.
Patch 11.2.5 of World of Warcraft is coming soon, bringing with it some exciting new activities and game improvements. The update does not include any story content for World of Warcraft: The War Within, but it does bring the game one step closer to the Midnight expansion.
Now, World of Warcraft has shared the patch notes for this new content update. Legion Remix, a limited-time seasonal event where players power through the critically acclaimed expansion pack, dominates the patch. Fans can level at an accelerated rate, tackle fresh challenges such as the Heroic World Tier, and earn new and returning rewards from the expansion. Players can enjoy Legion Remix without owning The War Within or having pre-purchased World of Warcraft: Midnight, but will need a subscription in order to go past level 20.
One of the other major aspects of the patch is the Turbo-Boost for World of Warcraft: The War Within Season 3. With the path’s launch, the Hero and Myth upgrade tracks will extend by two levels, and crafted items will be able to use Augmentation Matricies to improve their power. Then, on October 21, a bunch of other changes will arrive as well, including capless Crests, Warbound Valorstones, and improvements to Delve rewards, along with quests to get gear via Puzzling Cartel Chips.
There are a few other evergreen adjustments coming in this update, too. The Cooldown Manager is getting some robust new features, including the ability to separate cooldowns into three categories: Essential, Utility, and Hidden by Default. A Recent Allies section is coming to the Social frame, and improvements are being made to Edit Mode, the Spellbook search bar, and more. On the gameplay side, the D.I.S.C. Belt from Patch 11.1.7 has had the stat and damage of its abilities reduced by 20%.
Though Patch 11.2.5 isn’t even out yet, World of Warcraft fans already have a good idea as to when 11.2.7 is releasing. Player Housing in World of Warcraft is coming December 2, which almost certainly coincides with Patch 11.2.7, as it is exactly eight weeks after 11.2.5’s release on October 7. With the final two content updates for The War Within arriving this year, fans will be ready and waiting for Midnight in early 2026.
