The Brazilian midfielder has been linked with a move out of Old Trafford in the January transfer window with reporting that Al-Nassr star Ronaldo wants to reunite with his friend and former Real Madrid and United team-mate in Riyadh. Casemiro has been linked with a number of other clubs, but the report claims that the Saudi Pro League is his "most likely destination" should he leave United this month.

Ronaldo's future in the Saudi Pro League has been the subject of speculation now that he is into the final six months of his current deal. However, the Portugal icon, who turns 40 next month, ruled out a move away from Al-Nassr during an interview with the Saudi Pro League's official media channel, although he hinted that the club should buy new players to strengthen their squad.

As per Saudi Pro League rules, a club can only register eight overseas players in the league and if they want to sign Casemiro, they have to sell or deregister an existing foreign player from their roster. Al-Nassr have already sold Seko Fofana to Rennes, while Brazilian Anderson Talisca is reportedly in line to join Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce.
